Gervais does it again

Cynical times call for cynical tactics, and this is one of the most cynical things I’ve seen lately. Seeing Bono take the piss is actually very refreshing, though.
Simply brilliant.

Oh, Carol

Carol Burnett has decided to sue Family Guy. The suit seems to hinge on the claim that her likeness was used without her permission.
I loved Carol Burnett back in the day, and she also did a great turn on the Larry Sanders show (which at this point qualifies for back in the day status [...]

Mii Station

Here’s a site that builds you a “realistic” Wii avatar, also known as a Mii, based on a photo you upload for $5.
Are you spending hours tweaking your Mii, trying to make it look right? Frustrated that, even with photo in hand, you just can’t create a likeness?
Have no fear, Make Mii is here! [...]

Foxaganda (Again)?

How many more of these “mistakes” can Fox-owned outlets make before losing their license?
Just watch the footage they show as “support” for this piece about the conviction of a sex offender.

Even I’m shocked. Vote Obama!

Rosie gets PWND

OK, so the Rosie/Donald thing is officially 2007’s first out-of-control meme.
Now joining the fray is rapper Jin, who riffs on Rosie’s “ching chang chong” comments of a few weeks ago — all but forgotten in the mainstream media, but not, it’s safe to say, by Jin.
Homeboy even slams Rosie in Cantonese! Hysterical.
