This little Chevy ad from 1959 not only uses subliminal advertising, but makes fun of the whole notion of subliminal advertising.
As an aside, this spot is about 10,000 times better than either of the pitiful spots that Chevy bought on the Super Bowl — for a combined total of, what, $5.2 million for the media [...]
