Visual/musical trainwreck

Every second you watch this, you’ll think it can’t get any more preposterous. And then, Emeril-like, they kick it up a notch. These knuckle-dragging meatheads make Bon Jovi look like Bob Dylan. However, they seem to have stumbled on the magical, “your-chocolate-got-in-my-peanut-butter”-like combination of tits and fire.

Here’s a great idea that, sadly, probably won’t change anything. It’s a site allowing you to report a stolen bike.
Some people say that the best way to deter bike theft is to avoid buying used bikes and avoid retailers who sell used bikes. Virtually all of them are stolen. No customers, no market.
That could be [...]

How the law strangles culture

Via Presentation Zen, here’s a great talk by Lawrence Lessig on the tension between creativity and copyright. It’s long, but should not be missed.
